About Joyful Noise Studios

This website is the public home of Joyful Noise Studios, a coming-soon creative music hub and recording studio based in Merrimack, New Hampshire. It exists to introduce the studio's programs, memberships, and production services to the artists and creators who will use them — and to give visitors a clear, honest sense of what's being built before the doors open.

The site is built and maintained by the Joyful Noise Studios team. It's designed for songwriters, bands, producers, audio engineers, podcasters, video creators, students, and families in southern New Hampshire and across New England who are looking for a professional, welcoming place to write, record, learn, and collaborate. It is also for working engineers and producers who need dedicated studio access through the Studio A Residency, and for artists anywhere who want to work with producer and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Ordway on custom music production.

Joyful Noise Studios is founded by Ryan Ordway — a producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist — and Michelle Ordway, a vocalist, songwriter, and vocal coach. Together they bring decades of combined experience in writing, recording, performing, and teaching. The studio reflects their shared belief that music deserves a supportive, artist-first environment: one where songs find their sound, where craft is taught hands-on rather than in a classroom, and where a community of music makers can grow alongside one another.

Through programs, memberships, and education — from youth and adult classes to Producer Labs, Studio A Residency, songwriting, session player lessons, podcast and video production, and custom records — the site presents a full picture of what Joyful Noise Studios offers and who it serves.
