Step 1
Before a new member can begin using the Producer Lab independently, they must first complete the required New Member Training — an introduction to the studio, Producer Lab workstations, equipment, software, studio rules, workflow, and proper use of the facility.
New Member Training Required
A short certification before independent Lab access.
Step 2
Once your New Member Training is complete, pick the monthly membership that fits how much time you want in the Producer Lab. The same memberships are available to both students and adults — only the access hours differ.
Independent Access
After completing New Member Training, Level 1 members receive 6 hours of Producer Lab access every month.
1 Studio A training hour every month
Access + Monthly Training
Level 2 members receive 8 hours of Producer Lab access plus 1 Studio A training hour every month.
Studio A training sessions with Head Producer Ryan Ordway
Producer Lab + Studio A Training
Level 3 members receive 10 hours of Producer Lab access plus 2 monthly training hours conducted in Studio A with Head Producer Ryan Ordway.
Studio A Membership
Recurring access to a professional recording environment—without the expense of building and maintaining your own. For singer-songwriters producing their own record, independent producers developing artists, and engineers looking for a facility to bring clients.
Getting Studio A Certified
Studio A contains professional analog equipment, console routing, and outboard gear—so members must be approved before using the studio independently. Choose the path that fits your experience.
For artists & producers new to analog studios
Designed for artists and producers who already understand DAWs like Pro Tools, LUNA, or Logic Pro, but need help learning to operate a professional analog recording studio.
For experienced producers & engineers
Professionals who already understand analog consoles, patchbays, signal flow, and professional recording environments skip the four-week training and complete a short Studio A orientation.

Choose Your Membership
Longer sessions are created by combining blocks when studio availability permits. All sessions require advance booking.
Focused monthly sessions
Perfect for artists, producers, and engineers who want Studio A available for a couple of focused sessions every month.
For active creators
Designed for active artists, producers, and engineers who are consistently recording, producing, mixing, writing, or working with clients.
Your regular professional workspace
For serious independent producers, engineers, artists, and music professionals who want Studio A to function as their regular professional workspace.
Certified producers and engineers may use their Studio A membership to work with their own clients. Joyful Noise provides the professional facility—you provide the professional services and set your own production or engineering rates.
We provide the studio. You provide the talent.
Operate a professional recording business without leasing, building, equipping, or maintaining your own commercial studio.
Membership belongs to the certified individual and cannot be shared or transferred to another producer or engineer.
YOUR STUDIO. WITHOUT THE OVERHEAD.
Season Pass
A significantly more affordable and flexible alternative to a traditional college-based recording or audio-production program. Students shouldn't have to choose between working a job and pursuing their education in audio—so every Season Pass is individually built around each student's real-life availability.
Spend nine months learning recording and production inside a real professional studio.
Build the program around your work schedule and availability.
A more affordable path than many traditional college-based audio programs, focused directly on the skills you're here to learn.
Many of our students will have full-time or part-time jobs. That's okay. We can structure an individual Season Pass around a student's:
Some students want an intensive schedule, several days each week. Others work during the day and participate primarily during evenings or other available studio hours. There is no single schedule every Season Pass student must follow.
Work While You Learn
No Filler. Just Craft.
“I want to become an engineer or producer, but I don't want to spend years in a traditional college program taking classes that have nothing to do with what I actually want to do.”
If that sounds like you, Joyful Noise Studios offers another path.
Nine months. Real equipment. Real studio experience. A schedule built around your life.
Custom Schedule • Custom Tuition
Because schedules and tuition are individualized, there is no single fixed price. Start with a consultation so we can learn about your goals, work schedule, experience, and budget before developing your individual Season Pass.
